Grant Guidelines

As you consider submitting a grant application please keep in mind that the mission of The Wege Foundation is to enrich the lives of the people in greater Grand Rapids, Michigan by improving their education, environment, arts & culture, health care and community.

Your request should align with one of our five areas of interest. You can also share with us how your request will support our strategies and help us achieve our goals. Click on the links below to review our goals and strategies in the area of interest you plan to submit your request.

A few things that will be important to remember while you are applying are:

• We will consider funding only a portion of your project

• The more to the point and less elaborate, the better your request

• Convey to us why your project is important to Grand Rapids at this time

• If a timeline is important please include it

• Partnerships are essential in programming and funding source
